This filter is designed to add back the necessary minerals for electrolysis and helps remove a variety of contaminants, including:

- Chlorine
- Chloramines
- Bacteria
- Viruses
- Fungi
- Algae
It also effectively eliminates 90% or more of soluble metals, such as:
- Mercury
- Lead
- Nickel
- Copper

The Echo Remineralization Filter has a lifespan of up to 1000 gallons (4000 liters).
Filter Test Results
How do I know if I need this filter?
If you use a reverse osmosis system, distilled water, or have low TDS (total dissolved solids) in your water supply, this filter is necessary. You can check the TDS in your area by visiting this website and entering your zip code.
- If your water source has a TDS of less than 50, the Echo Internal Remineralization Filter is recommended for your Echo H2® Machine, Echo 9 Machine™, Echo 9 Ultra Machine™, or Echo Ultimate™.
- If your TDS is above 50 and you have one of the Echo models listed, you'll need the Echo Replacement Filter.
- For areas with TDS higher than 200, we recommend using the Echo Cleaning Cartridge every three to six months to maintain your machine.
